Inspired by MWM woven "Lily" ring.
Base of most Petite Torchiere crowns will nest between the lobes for smooth mating. 

Partial circle coverage of the pattern gets an even number of woven lobes. Ring size will influence actual configuration.
I expect we can add diamonds into the lobes for this pattern. Please let me know how you'd like to see this one done.

First of my new 3 Stage semi-bezel ring setting.

This flowing form has been in my thoughts for some time. First prototypes were drawn about a year ago. My first goal was to find a flow that made me smile - and one that can be manipulated to serve various stone shapes and sizes for various people. I finally came upon a definition to which can commit. This version is made to hold a 6 mm round center stone set into semi-bezel. The back of the ring body is just under 2.5 mm wide. Ring size shown here in 18 Karat yellow gold is 4.75.

I ordered the yellow sapphire shown here for this setting. However, this sapphire is a bit small for it's intended purpose. If I keep this yellow sapphire, I'll need to make a slightly smaller setting for it. I'll have a 6 mm round "Forever Brilliant" branded synthetic Moissanite to check out soon. I'm thinking that the slightly warm color and often crazy dispersion of the synthetic Moissanite will pair nicely with this rich, yellow gold setting. There is a round CZ in the some photos for added interest.
